2-Service Technicians

Carolina Collision Equipment is seeking the professional assistance of 2 service technicians

Duties and Responsibilities to include:

  • Respond timely to requests for service.
  • Efficiently and cost effectively schedules service visits and determines routes of service work to be performed.
  • Diagnose problems and perform service work as per manual.
  • Documents in CRM the nature of any service work needed or performed and qualification for warranty work.
  • Disposes of waste materials properly into appropriate containers
  • Reports any problems or discrepancies immediately to the supervisor.
  • Sells, schedules, performs Annual Safety Inspection and Maintenance visits to all customers and records followup visits to be scheduled in the future.
  • Develops new equipment opportunities assigning them to appropriate sales representatives and cultivates existing equipment opportunities
  • Maintains work area and tools in a clean orderly and safe manner.
  • Maintains inventory levels in the service van.
  • Attends service training and other training as identified.
  • Must have acceptable driving record.
  • Must be willing and able to travel with overnight stays.
  • Must meet insurance requirements to operate vehicle.

Skills;

Candidate must be a very motivated, self starter, organizational skills, mechanical & electronic aptitude, oral, written and technical communication skills, math, reading and computer skills, ability to lift up to 75 lbs. 

Education / Experience;

  • High School Diploma required
  • Prior Mechanical experience required
  • Vocational Training, Technical Certificate or equivalent a plus
  • Prior Collision Experience a plus

Office Manager

Carolina Collision Equipment is seeking the professional assistance of an Office Manager.

Summary:Responsible for contributing to the growth of the business through efforts to support sales and service teams                                                                                                                                                                                                               by performing essential operational duties in a professional manner and by performing the following duties.

Duties and Responsibilities to include:

  1. Answers multi-line telephone system, takes accurate messages and transfers telephone calls to the appropriate person in an efficient manner.
  2. Greets and screens incoming visitors in a professional manner and promptly notifies appropriate person of their arrival.
  3. Supervises Administrative Assistant personnel
  4. Performs accounts payable functions to include posting invoices or matching invoices to items received and preparing payments to be made to vendors
  5. Performs accounts receivable functions to include creating customer invoices and processing returned items for credit from vendor
  6. Performs twice monthly accounts receivable reviews to collect amounts past due from customers
  7. Responsible for Safety Program
  8. Responsible for maintaining timekeeping system and processing payroll
  9. Rectifies vendor statements in a timely manner
  10. Creates customer quotes as needed
  11. Processes all necessary items on new customer checklist in a timely manner
  12. Maintains proper response letters on computer for various incoming correspondence
  13. Files correspondence and documents as necessary.
  14. Performs other related duties as assigned.
